Well, I am heading to bass pro tomorrow for a Medium Tiger Ugly Stick, I already have a MH with a Penn 320 GT2 on it so I thought I'd get a Medium for my other Penn 320 or one of my 7000c3's. I'll have about 35.00 maybe 40.00 left and was thinking on getting another rod, any suggestions on a good catfish rod---I thought about the 11' Catmax for either my 7000c3 or other Penn 320, or the 7' Cat Ugly Stick, or some other good catfish rod for Channel to Medium Large Blue/Flats. At the time I have a ugly stick 6'6" MH Boat Rod rated at 20-50, 7' Tiger MH Casting, 7' Tiger M Spinning, 11' 2 piece Tiger MH 15-40 Spinning and 1 7' Ugly Stick Catfish rod, 7' M Offshore Angler Power Stick. I have in Penn reels 2 320's, 1 500m jigmaster---in Abu's I got 2 6500's, 1 6000, 2 5000's---1 Quantum Iron IR 335, 1 Zebco 888, 2 33's---2 Diawa Emblem Spinning Reels X-5500T'S. I thought about another 7' ugly stick catfish rod but didn't know if they'd be better than the 11' CATMAX which I would use for bank fishing with my other Tiger 11' Spinning outfit.

Went to Bass Pro and got me a M and a MH Tiger today, now I should have enough rods to go with most of my big reels. I like the Medium it seems to have a little bit more movement or sensitivity at the tip, was going to look at the Catmax but after looking over both rods a few times there was no second thought, I figure you most of the time you pay for what you get--so the 120.00 went quick.

I think you made a good choice. I use 4 M Tiger rods for drifting, no complaints.

Ya, I was only going to buy one but they had 4 Mediums and at least 4 MH's so I thought what the heck and went and bought them both. I figure I'll put both of my Penn 320 GT2'S on one of the Medium Heavies, and the other 320 on my 6'6" BWB 1140 MH Ugly Stick that is rated for 20-50 lb. For my 7000c3's I think the other MH and the Medium Tiger will work just fine, I also have a Offshore Angler 7' Power Stick PS1670c rated for 20-50 lb. test that I think I'll put my Quantum Iron IR335 on, the reel is a non level wind but I almost got it figured out. All I need at the moment would be another MH Tiger for my Jigmaster 500M to go on to.
