Heading Out To Catch Some Big Ones To Kill!!!

    Deep edges along a weed bed actually. A slipfloat and an ice jig tipped with a waxworm is my favorite. Hopefully they will be hittin. I will let ya know tonight how it went. rollo

    Good luck. I usually use minnows but they can be a pain to get. I love crappie those little dudes are some good eatin.

    We caught well over 100 in an hour in a half. Dunno how many we caught and released. We kept around 24 pounds of gills and crappies to eat.... rollo

    Jason Do you use an electric Knife or regular fillet knife?

    I use a regular knife. I know the electric one is much faster, but im old school! It's alot of work, but part of the experience! rollo

    Man Jason congrats on a load of gill nuggets lol. I just tried them for the first time this year. I am jealous. Gonna try to get out this weekend and load up on some. hopefully I can find some big boys.:wink:
