Getting ready to head to the OR for some action. Plan to catch some shad and see what happens. Been hitting good past few trips, we will see. Post a report tomorrow morning. :)

Well started out very slow. Got to the spot I been catching the post spawn fish and anchored. Got 1 good hit in about an hours time and decided to move. Drove to another spot that was around the same 15-20ft depth and anchored, nothing for another hour. Finally decided to try something a little different for this time of year and it paid off. Found a flat that was about 1-2ft deep with shad everywhere. Anchored and started fishing, withing 2 minutes had a nice channel in the boat. It was fast action for the next 1 1/2, caught several nice channels before the fog made me dicide to head back. Nothing huge (biggest was 8lb 2oz), but a lot of fun. You know your having fun when you have to take all but one rod out because you can't watch them all. Fresh Cut shad was the prime bait.
