Headed to the big Ohio River!

    Well the neighbor an my self are going to head down to the ohio river this saturday night.St.marys w.v.I guess around willow Island.I think.Any one Catching any fish down that way yet?

    river is running full and muddy dont think i would with the high water i run along the river today from pomeroy to hunnington wv alot of trash floatin

    Randy, if you are gonna be boating, (LEAVE EARLY) and look around for some safe anchor spots. The water is HIGH, and lots of debris, not unfishable. Just be careful, I don't want to lose the only guy I know that can catch big flatheads around DresTucky lol.

    Thanks Guys,My neighbor is captin.An is a older guy.An very wise.So I put it all on him.Your right about the Muskium River.You just dont know.

    IVE RUN ALONG THE RIVER FOR 2 DAYS NOW AND THERES NOT A BOAT ONE ON IT THAT IVE SEEN JUST BARGES SO BE CAREFUL IF YOU GO DOWN THERE SORRY ABOUT THE CAPS

    Well we did good last night.The river was in good shape.Was a little choppie.An didnt look to high.We came up with 5 The biggest was 24# an had atotal of45#.Suckers and war months was the bait.Danny caught 4 an me 1.We had a good time an when the moon came out the fishing was slow.I missed3 good runs.My buddy also fished the Muskium last night.An they came up with 3 channel an 2 flats The big channel was 10 #

    The NOAA river stage chart says the Ohio River is only at flood stage in the Cincinnti stretch.
