Myself and "Veritok" Jon are going to try Beaver lake this weekend.
We will be launching out of "Rocky Branch" marina.
I have never fished Beaver, but we have good information from friends here at the hospital on a site off a bluff, just down from the marina. They are tearing up the stripers and white bass in 130 ft of water, fishing 40 ft deep.
The old Ark. river is too fast for us, so we will be there friday and sat night if anyone wants to share in the bounty!! Jon will be there in our green Giizzly Tracker fri eve.
I will be flying the BOC flag colors. sat night. when I arrive.
Only thing is though, they dont start hittin till about 2am.
Bring your shad net and underwater light!

    Stanley,
Good luck on Beaver. I fish it a lot, but have to really work to catch cats.
Now, bass, that is another story. They are easy to catch on that lake.
I hope you hang a 40 pound striper. Maybe you will get the 40 pounder that I hooked on a jug one night. That was a fight allright.
    good luck
    post results if you would

Well, we didnt score a knockout, but we caught some fish, found a new fishin hole, and had a real nice night out on the water.
10 nice white bass and one good walleye, mostly caught by the boys.
This is my take of the small bounty.
We just couldnt bring the shad in to the net under the lights. We had two shad nets out with lights, just could only manage a few, so not much live bait.

glad you had a nice night on Beaver. I do not get as much time to fish as I would like but the kids are getting older and I want a pontoon. I have fished with some luck around War Eagle marina and 412 bridge coming into Springdale. Took my boys to Murphy park here in springdale and my son caught 3 nice little channels Saturday night. I was born and raised in Harrison,Ar. Do you fish much in Lead Hill?

Hey Melvin, welcome to the BOC, glad to have someone else from Harrison.
Yes, I fish from Lead Hill some, Tucker Hollow, and Pot Shoals.
We mostly fish for the big cats on the Ark. River at Dardanelle though. Keep in touch.
