Have you seen this method for getting bait?

    On the MO river, we get in the slack water and do donuts in the boat to get the asian carp jumping. They don't always land in the boat so sometimes it takes a guy in the front of the boat with a dipnet to catch them as they jump. Not as many as on that video but they probably average between 10 and 20 pounds, so all you need is one for bait for the night:big_smile:

    That reminds me of the time I towed a stranded boat on the Illinois river. Except they were from 5-20 pounds. I had 3 people throwing them back in so it would'nt weigh the boat down. I had more fish in that boat that night than I've ever seen in my life, and it was still the worst night i've ever had fishing..I still ger razzed by harold hicks and screen (bruce) from time to time about that.
