Wow, that was a monster cat!!
Nice Monster Cat, good one to CPR
That video is of a Wels cat in Spain or Europe somewhere.
The majority of the men who fish for them release them.
We have a sponsor, http://www.catfish1.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=334 , who fishes for them.
Man that was a monster, what a fight!
I dreamed about that fish last night. When I awoke I realized it was April Fools Day. What a Bummer. Big Fish thanks for Sharing.
Nice one .
Thanks for sharing.
yowzer...thats a big kitty!
That is one big cat. What a fight that would be. Thanks for sharing
I kept thinking that rod was going to snap. That was one heavy duty rig. Talk about the fish of a life time....:smile2:
git-r-done this makes me want to hook to the boat!!!!!!!!!! :waaaht:
That makes me alot more confident about my Ugly Stiks. I believe he was using a 9 ft Ugly Stik Big Water.
ill be honest and tell you i dont think id have enough strenghth to have pulled that baby up in the boat:embarassed: :tounge_out: :sad2:
My wife just said I got shortness of breah just watching the veido thanks for  shareing
Amazing fish.... a more amazing release!!!
This is a good vid also. Black Tip shark I believe. Not nearly the fight of the big Wels cat, but cool none the less. Makes me want to go to the beach for some surf roddin. I bet my 12' Ugly Stik Big Water's with my Shimano 6500 Baitrunners would do the job out there.
And to think...... That was actually not one of the big ones!!!! They get much bigger!!! So I have been told, LOL!!!
I think I would just have to throw my pole in the water before he pulled me in. I be afraid of my boat turning over.
Does anybody know what kind of bait it was caught on?
WoW what a cat. Thanks for the post! His hand had to be scrapped up.:boss:
