If you have caught anything in the Harpeth River in middle tn let me know. My primary fishin hole for channels. Great spot for harvesting bait: shiners, redhorse, sucker, clams, bream... great gar fishing also.

Catman, I'm within 15 min. of the Harpeth River but have never fished it. I guess the reasons that I haven't would be that I grew up boat fishing the Tenn. and Cumberland Rivers and don't know of any good places to bank fish on the Harpeth.

Search Mapquest and find Cottonwood or Fieldstone Farms in Franklin. In Fieldstone Farms, next to Cottonwood is a small park with soccer field - Lynnwood Park and is my fishin hole. It might not show up on the map but is right by the T intersection of Fieldstone Parkway and Cotton Lane. Cotton Lane crosses the harpeth right over my fishin hole.
