Hardy Lake

    Anybody know how the cat bite is??

    I'll give my report.....caught a couple channels a few hours after dark. Pretty slow, at least where I was sitting.

    Everyone I know who fishes the biggest man made lake in the state.ie: Hardy Lake tells me the same thing. Small amounts of fish in small sizes when bank fishing no matter where you're at on the lake. If ya want 'em ya gota go out on a boat to find 'em and get 'em.

    My own personal experience has never been good but never really been bad.

    All variety of fresh water fish can be found in the water there.

    I am uncertain of the year it was made but an interesting facto about the lake is that several homes are at the bottom. They were abandoned when the property was purchased and the valley was flooded. One urban legend says that there were a couple of very stubborn families who refused to leave their government purchased land even when the rains came and the lake started to fill. I doubt they stayed very long after it started raining however. If they did they were the first fish food in the water. :crazy: Yes I went there lol
