I want to wish everyone a Happy Easter. I'm taking the family to church in the morning and then planning on doing a few egg hunts for the kids. Maybe after that I can go hit the lake.

Happy Easter to everyone, we are getting ready to color Eggs with Madison as I am typing. Going to church in morning and then to mom and dads for Easter Lunch. I picked up 5 Easter Lillys today for Mom, 2 Sis, Wife and Madison to wear in Church.

Hope to crash the rest of the day and just relax. Long 2 weeks of work and Monday is right around the corner, LMAO.

    Believer,

You nailed it Brother, Christ is the reason for the season... There are so many out there that just don't realize the importance, of what Christ did for us..

Easter is not about hunting eggs, or bunny rabbit's...This is Man's idea of what Easter is..

As for me, and my house, we will worship the LORD..

    Happy Easter everyone...

I just wanted to wish all a happy Easter. Enjoy the fun with your kids/family and have a great day. Remember the reason for the season.

(Also, My Glasses got broke Friday ( LOL) and I'm having a hard time seeing so bare with me on posting this. I might make some mistakes. LOL. ) BTW, I'll get a new pic up later. LOL.

I'm Not trying to start debate of anything. Just want to say a few things.
I want to add that I got a spam/link today in my email from an un known . I checked it out a little. I'm sure some will see it on the internet for themselves or look it up. it's talking about a new way of what Jesus looked like and showing a new pic of what they think Jesus looked like and new facts if God/Jesus is real. They say 50/50 he is real or not.
    ----------------------
When will people give up on that stuff of trying to prove God is not real and just follow their hearts and/or read the number one selling book in America.
    For myself.
I've always been a keep to myself type person for the most part. For me, God's real all right.
Me, I know whats in my heart, and have all my life, even if I didn't seem that way at times. I dont need convincing one way or the other. I'm not an angle or preacher by a long shot but I do believe in God and Jesus Christ.

I feel like the world was given to man with choices and each man/woman was born with the spirit of God in their heart/soul. What happens after that is up to the person while on Earth under mans laws, which or and have become different from God's way.
I do have questions for God and I pray for understanding which I have gotten some understanding form my prayers but I will also have faith and wait for many of my questions to be answered by the lord himself when my time comes to be with him. I'm sure He will fill me in on everything with an easy understanding of it all as to why .......... ?
I'll probably say, man, blow me down, its so simple, all I had to do was follow my heart and believe in you while reading your word. Some things are just too easy but seem so hard.

I also wanted to put this email up that I got from a person on this site who I think is good people. Do to it being sent to me using different color letters. I made a change to show the person who was praying and Gods response.

    -----------------------------------------------------------------------------
    THE LORD'S PRAYER
Rather cleverly done in two parts:
the prayer (in blue type), I am putting a P. in front of it for the person who is saying the prayer. and GOD (in red type) which I will put a G for God's response.
    Hope I dont confuse anyone.
    **********

    P. Our Father Who Art In Heaven.
    ---------
    G. Yes?
    --------
    P. Don't interrupt me. I'm praying.
    ---------

    G. But -- you called ME!
    ----------
    P. Called you?
    No, I didn't call you.
    I'm praying.
Our Father who art in Heaven.
    ------------

    G. There -- you did it again!
    ------------

    P. Did what?
    ------------

    G. Called ME.
    You said,
"Our Father who art in Heaven"
    Well, here I am.
    What's on your mind?
    --------------

    P. But I didn't mean anything by it.
I was, you know, just saying my prayers for the day.
I always say the Lord's Prayer.
    It makes me feel good,
kind of like fulfilling a duty.
    ---------

    G. Well, all right.
    Go on.
    ----------

    P. Okay, Hallowed be thy name .
    ----------
    G. Hold it right there.
What do you mean by that?
    ----------

    P. By what?
    -----------

    G. By "Hallowed be thy name"?
    ----------

    P. It means, it means . . good grief,
I don't know what it means.
How in the world should I know?
It's just a part of the prayer.
By the way, what does it mean?

    G. It means honored, holy, wonderful.
    ------------
    P. Hey, that makes sense.
I never thought about what 'hallowed' meant before.
    Thanks.
    Thy Kingdom come,
    Thy will be done,
on earth as it is in Heaven.
    ------------

    G. Do you really mean that?
    -----------

    P. Sure, why not?
    -----------
    G. What are you doing about it?
    -----------

    P. Doing? Why, nothing, I guess.
I just think it would be kind of neat if you got control,
of everything down here like you have up there.
We're kinda in a mess down here you know.
    -----------

    G. Yes, I know;
but, have I got control of you?
    -----------

    P. Well, I go to church.
    ----------

    G. That isn't what I asked you.
    What about your bad temper?
You've really got a problem there, you know.
And then there's the way you spend your money --
    all on yourself.
And what about the kind of books you read?
    -----------
    P. Now hold on just a minute!
    Stop picking on me!
I'm just as good as some of the rest of those people at church!
    ---------

    G. Excuse ME.
    I thought you were praying
for my will to be done.
    If that is to happen,
it will have to start with the ones
    who are praying for it.
    Like you -- for example.
    --------------

    P. Oh, all right. I guess I do have some hang-ups.
    Now that you mention it,
I could probably name some others.
    -----------

    G. So could I.
    -------------

    P. I haven't thought about it very much until now,
but I really would like to cut out some of those things.
I would like to, you know, be really free.
    --------------

    G. Good.
Now we're getting somewhere. We'll work together -- You and ME.
    I'm proud of You.
    ----------

    P. Look, Lord, if you don't mind,
I need to finish up here.
This is taking a lot longer than it usually does.
Give us this day, our daily bread.
    ------------

    G. You need to cut out the bread.
    You're overweight as it is.
    -----------

    P. Hey, wait a minute! What is this?
Here I was doing my religious duty,
and all of a sudden you break in
and remind me of all my hang-ups.
    -------------

    G. Praying is a dangerous thing.
You just might get what you ask for.
    Remember,
you called ME -- and here I am.
It's too late to stop now.
    Keep praying. ( . . pause . . )
    Well, go on.
    -----------

    P. I'm scared to.
    ----------

    G. Scared? Of what?
    ---------
    P. I know what you'll say.
    ---------

    G. Try ME.
    ---------

    P. Forgive us our sins, as we forgive those who sin against us.
    ---------

    G. What about Ann?
    ----------

    P. See? I knew it!
I knew you would bring her up!
Why, Lord, she's told lies about me, spread stories.
She never paid back the money she owes me.
I've sworn to get even with her!
    ----------

    G. But -- your prayer --
    What about your prayer?
    ----------

    P. I didn't -- mean it.
    -----------
    G. Well, at least you're honest.
But, it's quite a load carrying around all that bitterness
    and resentment isn't it?
    ----------
    P. Yes, but I'll feel better as soon as I get even with her.
Boy, have I got some plans for her.
She'll wish she had never been born.
    -----------

    G. No, you won't feel any better.
    You'll feel worse.
    Revenge isn't sweet.
You know how unhappy you are --
    Well, I can change that.
    ----------

    P. You can? How?
    -----------
    G. Forgive Ann.
    Then, I'll forgive you;
And the hate and the sin,
will be Ann's problem -- not yours.
You will have settled the problem
as far as you are concerned.
    -------------

    P. Oh, you know, you're right.
    You always are.
And more than I want revenge,
I want to be right with You . . (sigh).
    All right . all right . .
    I forgive her.
    -----------

    G. There now!
    Wonderful!
    How do you feel?
    --------------

    P. Hmmmm. Well, not bad.
    Not bad at all!
In fact, I feel pretty great!
You know, I don't think I'll go to bed uptight tonight.
I haven't been getting much rest, you know.
    ----------

    G. Yeah, I know.
But, you're not through with your prayer are you? Go on.
    ----------
    P. Oh, all right.
And lead us not into temptation,
    but deliver us from evil.
    -----------

    G. Good! Good! I'll do that.
Just don't put yourself in a place
    where you can be tempted.
    ---------
    P. What do you mean by that?
    ---------

    G. You know what I mean.
    ---------
    P. Yeah. I know.
    ----------
    G. Okay.
    Go ahead. Finish your prayer.
    -----------
    P. For Thine is the kingdom,
    and the power,
    and the glory forever.
    Amen.
    -----------

    G. Do you know what would bring me glory --
What would really make me happy?
    ------------
    P. No, but I'd like to know.
I want to please you now.
I've really made a mess of things.
I want to truly follow you.
I can see now how great that would be.
    So, tell me . . .
How do I make you happy?
    ----------

    G. YOU just did.
