Anyone using the "fish grabber" or "auto gaff" that BPS has in their catalog? (page 418 in the fishing master catalog) New gadgets for me & hoping someone knew. Seems like I end up with bandaids and neosporin at least once every year....

Since I changed my approach to holding them, I haven't been "bit".

Come at the cat from the head, thumb behind a pectoral fin, Dorsal fin between thumb and index finger, and the remaining pec between the index and social fingers. Works like a champ!

Gary, I've been using those fish grabbers for going on 30 years now. And they're great for cats up to 6-8lbs. I would suggest to get the metal auto gaff, it can also be used to move logs in the campfire.
