gumout

    Anyone ever run gumout injector cleaner in there boat?

    Personally I'd stick with the proven over the decades Sea Foam than take a chance with something that may wash off the oil on the cylinder walls. It would probably be OK for a 4 stroke motor but I wouldn't bet my outboard it will work on a 2 stroke too

    It's a yamaha 4 stroke EFI and all that. Way I see it is that most big motors that are 4 strokes any more are the same ones they use in cars,snow machines and what ever else. There just vertical instead of horizontal. Anyways been doing some more reading. There about the same just different main ingredients. One is kerosene the other is naphtha and isopropyl alcohol.
