Didnt have scales but it was almost 16 inches
Johnny it's only a guess but I would estimate it would weigh2 1/2 #. Nice fish what did you catch him on?:cool2:
Red and chartreus jig i didnt have scale but now that he is released i am really interested in knowing the weight he was fat and tail was hanging off the boc completely.
I think 2 1/2 is vary close, I caught a 17 in that was that weight. It is a nice crappie
About 1 to 2lbs, but thats a nice crappie.
Looks like about a 6# to 7# Bullhead to me! lmao:big_smile:
Jack i was thinking the same thing record bullhead lol.
I weighed some 13'' that I caught the other day. 1lb 2oz, I would think that those 3'' would add another lb.
I had a 15 1/2 incher mounted once and it weighed 2 1/4
2.5lbs is what my crappie ruler says.A 12 incher is 1lb.
looks like a very healthy fish...id say 2 1/2 - 2 3/4
It's looking like 2 1/2 pound. mine's crappie was 13" 1lb 1oz. and Nice crappie!
A 16" white crappie caught around where I live will weigh 2 pounds. This time of the year, right at the spawn, the females with full egg sacks will go close to 2 1/4 pounds. Very nice fish!
I would say that the crappie is about 2.5 lbs also. I caught one about that size a few years ago. I released it and wouldnt mind catching it again to see if he is any bigger. Good Job!
Between 2 and 2.5 pound I would say. Nice catch.
I'm sorry, but I can't really tell how big the fish actually is, the way you have it laying. I think if you would have had it laying sideways when you took the picture, we could get a more accurate idea on the weight. I'm not even going to make a guess on the weight for that reason.
