    Hello all cowboys:smile2:

I have familly that moved to San Antonio this past year. I am going for a visit on the 21st of this month. Are there any decent waters around there for catfishing as I never been there before or know what the area is like?

There are 2 power plant lakes just east of San Antonio. Like Mo said Calaveras and the other is Braunig. Both produce good fish, blues, channels and stocked redfish. I'll be on Calaveras Saturday then be able to give a better report. The last trip produced a limit of reds, a good number of channels and a 22 # blue. My bait of choice is fresh shad caught at the crappie wall or at the boat ramps. PM if you need more info.
