Greenie or warmouth or both ??????

    this thing was big enough to lip it
    the other pic has some gills and mixed fish in it and i think 1 pumpkin seed a little advise on what bait i really have for sure

    That is a mix of bluegill, warmouth, and looks like a redear.:wink:

    a spawned out blue gill....hope ya catch a goodun...didnt see a pumpkin seed in the bucket bro, but hey you got some good bait there...good luck

    the only one in the buckett with a red dot on the gill plate it was just so vibrantly colored and the other you think is a gill ?? didnt look like the other gills i have caught

    they are warmouth i have them in ponds that i caught with and there are good bait :cool2::cool2: keep using them i cut my tho

    Looks like a lot of Warmouth. They're great bait.
    They're the only bait that make me gag cutting them up after I've thawed them from freezing them. Something about them stinks so bad ...

    Look like green sunfish & bluegill to me. Green sunfish have those irridescent blue lines around the mouth and Warmouth don't.

    greenies, one redear and the rest are hybrids. Ive only actually caught one warmouth and it was in the creek of Dow lake. But its hard to say what any sunfish is most the time because they all hybridize together but either way great bait!

    Guys, it a green sunfish (Lepomis cyanellus):cool2:

    Growing up in Indiana, they were known as rockbass.
