:confused2: What is going on ,my tomatoes don't seem to want to get ripe.Allkinds of green ones ,lots of blooms ,but no red ones. Was doing real good then all at once they stopped getting ripe. Keep them watered. Any ideas. Sure miss my tomatoes.

    They will ripen when mature.

You can pull them to stop the growth and put them in a dark spot to ripen. Most people put them in the window but tomatos rippen in the dark.

What are the night temperatures like out there, John? Tomatoes don't ripen below ~70 degrees, at least not the ones I used to grow. If it's cool at night, you can still pick them and let 'em ripen inside, as mentioned earlier.:smile2:

Mister Rat, mine ripen at the bottom but stay green at the top. If I wait til the top turns red, the bottom are way overripe. Been just cutting off the top and eating the bottoms.
