only letting out about 800 saturday so the water was only about 3 foot deep but crappie still biting at about a foot and a half deep on minnows or jigs. no joke. most were in the 12 inch range some smaller, between 3 people we caught 46 crappie but it took 9 hours. hope all can benifet and maybe get a chance to go. we caught all our fish in eddys and it is bank accessable all around. happy fishing.

taylor county, its the only tailwaters of green river i know of not far from holmes bend marina, directly on the other side of the damn. alot of good walleyes being caught too, some in the 5 - 7 pound range. hope you can make it it is easier to walk around since the water is down and they are plenty of parking lots but for crappie you want to walk on the far side. i dont know why but it is better on that side, more bank cut backs and eddys. good luck
