Green river catfish?

    Im from indiana and will be going to Mammoth Cave Park soon. I was wondering if anyone knows of any good spots to catch some nice cats around there on Green River?:confused2: thanks

    I personally never fished the river up that way. The state record flathead i believe caught in the 50's came from the Green River. Since you are going to be there why not break that record it's long overdue. I have heard nothing but good things on that river loaded with big fish. I would find a spot any spot as close to a ripple a outside bend or log , brush pile and have at it. Good Luck...

    You will be near Brownsville, Ky. There is an old lock & dam there you can fish at. There is also a ferry that crosses the river that should be another area to fish. Never fished at the ferry but did fish below the dam many years ago with moderate success.
