have any of you used a green light? if so are they that much better than a regular light? the price is a lot more for green and i was wondering if they are worth the difference in price. it works in saltwater but not that much better than good white lights.

I own a 4 foot green light ,have used a green light for years and i think they work better the white light. I like them because they do not have the glare of a white light , a also the the green light is more friendly to fish and bait. My 2 cents worth

I've fished with both a green light and a white light both on the boat at the same time and always caught more under the green light. I think they're better. I have the 18" green fluorescent one.

I have used them both. The green seems to attract more crappie. They also double as a cat fishing light also. They do not attract near as many bugs. They also use about half the power or even a 1/3 so your batteries go even further.
