This is a buck taken in Green County, GA on 10 Nov - 11 points, green
    score of 152.
This deer would never come out of the thick stuff - 345 acres
clear cut seven years ago and thick enough to turn a rabbit. My son
found him and decided the only way to take him was to get in there with
him. He shot him from about 15 FEET and almost directly over him - said
it was so thick he was never able to see the whole deer before he fired, saw the rack and shot him almost stright below him.
We have a lot of deer here in GA but not very many of them ever grow
decent racks, much less racks like this one had.

Most deer hunters know that the best bucks stay in the thickest most hard
to get to places but it so hard to hunt where you don't have vision and it
makes for such a boring day. Your son was well rewarded for a great effort
    good job. Very nice buck.

Nice one indeed. Very unique rack and certainly has the mass to score well. Congrats, and i agree the thickest nastiest stuff is often where he spends the daylite hours.
