Granger lake or decker?

    i'm gonna branch out from travis and have heard these two lakes are good for cats. i was wondering if any fellow texans have any knowledge of these lakes.

    There both good lakes,but I think Granger is the better of the two. Decker closes @ 10:00 pm due to the fact that its a city park,but with Granger you can stay later,there is more access to the lake,and you can always fish the spillway.

    Might want to check out Lake Bastrop also. Its rated as good for cats by Parks and Wildlife and isn't that far, maybe 30 miles from Austin. Decker can be a windy lake.

    My Son In Law And I Went To Granger Last Sunday Set 60 Jugs And Kept 30 Catfish 29 Blues And 1 Channel. All 4-7 Lbs. Used Live 2-3 Inch Perch. Thanks Oldman

    I've fished Decker and didn't have too good of luck. Come on down to Canyon Lake and you'll catch 'em.
