For all you guys who have taken kids out catfishing, I will say one thing. Patience. At 7 years old, Cody stayed awake and fished all night. And talked, and walked up and down the bank, and reeled his line in to check his bait, and talked and walked, and reeled, and talked and walked and reeled all night. But I would not trade it for anything. I am not sure who had a better time, him or me. I had to help him reel in his fish, but I would do it a hundred more times if I could.
