Jennie (hilblegirl) and I took our grandson Landon to lake fortsmith today so he could ride in the boat and try to catch a fish. Now understand he is 3 years old, He said go fast papa.......... so I threw it up on plane and it was WEEEEEEEE...... he was havin a blast, no fear in this little boy. Got to my favorite blue gill hole and got his spiderman pole all rigged up and got it thrown out, bam, fish on, so with some coachin he got it reeled in all by hisself, he did this several times and this grandpa was never so proud. I think he caught 7 all tallied. It was a good day for my little man. I caught a few too:smile2: Poor Jennie though, well, she was skunked but was too busy runnin the camera and givin encouragment. we rode around the lake and he really enjoyed it, he even got to drive thru the no wake area's. It was a good day..

You know you have to be glowing! There is no better feeling ya get when you take a young one to fish. I even see the kids on the banks sometimes and forget all about my pole. :tounge_out:The excitement, :roll_eyes:the thrill:wink: the little ones have beat out anything:smile2:

I fished alot of years with my papa and would not trade those memories for all the money in the world, My papa was very special to me, and I just want my grandson to feel the same. Hopefully it will shape the kind of man he will be someday and he can pass it on......
