Water level is good right now. It's shallow enough now that you can see the things that will bust your prop. Water temp was 69 yesterday morning.

I am thinking about hauling my new boat over to the Grand. I have never been on the river, is this a experienced anglers river? Meaning are there lots of obstacles and junk to tear up your equipment? I have been interested in trying this river out just from all the hype it gets on this forum.

It all depends. MOST places are OK, but you can't just open 'er up and fly down the river.
The reason you hear a lot about the Grand is that there are several of us who live near it. The Kalamazoo, and St Joseph Rivers have flatheads too, but we don't have active contributors there.
When can you come over here & try it out? I'll try to point you to some good fishing if I can coordinate the timing...
