This new little gadget is just to nice, it sure would be a heck of a lot easier then setting up my chronograph and having to make sure everything is in alignment. I gotta' have one of these......LOL

Id have to go to the lake to see 600 yards.lol Im lucky to find a field 200 yards.
I'm a member of a bench rest club that has a 600 yd range but I live just outside the Mississippi River floodplain and it's as flat as a pancake down there. I have a couple of farmers that allow me to shoot on their property and some of it is well over 600 yds.

Do you shoot F-Class? I try to make every NRA midrange match at BRRC.
I have two rifles that would fall under F-class ((F/TR) classification even though I don't shoot competitively anymore. I have the membership at St. Louis Benchrest which is actually in Wright City so I can have somewhere to shoot with a less trouble then going to the bottoms and having to set up targets. I have a personal range for rifles out to 100 yds and pistols. That's were I do most of my shooting and working my test loads.

You should come out to one of the Thursday Club matches. They are held the 1st Thursday from April to September. It's a very informal match with 30 rounds for record plus sighters. I believe they do unlimited sighters for the 1st string, then 2 for the second. Their are classes for F-T/R, F-Open and Bench Open.

It's a good time and is really laid back, perfect for beginners or guys that don't want to attend a NRA style match. Match fees are $20 and include a hot lunch.

BTW, I wouldn't hold my breath on that Labradar. They have pushed back the release date about 10 times since it debuted at SHOT in 2013. If it does what it says it will, it will be awesome, but it's pretty much vaporware at this point.

Thank you Ryan I will consider you offer. Your right about the Labradar it's been pushed back several times I hope they can get the kinks worked out because it would be much easier to use then my chronograph.

I put a 34" 1/11 Obermeyer barrel on my F-T/R rifle and shot the first 49 200 Hybrids through it this evening. There was a variable 5-7 mph wind with typical Missouri spring mirage. After getting it sighted in at 600, I turned on the Labradar and kept track for 30 rounds. I was hoping for .5 MOA all day long, so I must not have done my part. :wink1: Oh well, they would have all been 10's.

I have several variables to test before I get my load tuned up, but I thought I would share my results here for the guys that are waiting on their units to arrive. This one does not personally belong to me, but it is a safe bet that I will purchase one when they start hitting the market.

By the way, we also shot 5 75 grain Amaxes out of an AR and it registered all 5 without any issues.

1/2 MOA at 600 would be some mighty fine shootin'....lol, at my age I'd be tickled with 1 MOA. I'm pleased that the Labradar is working out I'm so looking forward to getting one for myself then I can retire my chronograph.
