Got my new coyote gun...

    Its a Savage/Stevens Model 200 in .243, its just the bare gun now. Im gunna get my scope/bipod/sling/and light for it for xmas. wish me luck and good luck to all you other yote hunters out there. cant wait to get out there after deer season, hopfully with some snow on the ground.:wink:

    Congrats on the new rifle, looks like a good one. I have a Savage Stevens shotgun that Ive owned bout 33 years and still treats me good. :big_smile:

    That is the perfect round for Mr. Coyote. The great thing about the 243 is it is also great for hogs and we have plenty of those in Texas also. The record kill from a helicopter with a 12 gage loaded with buckshot is 3500 hogs, more or less a few, in two weeks. They didn't even count the coyotes. Catfishjon
