Nice Catch! I've got a 14 footer too, that I've been working on ( as well as fishing out of) for a few months. Sure beats trying to find a spot on the bank! Be sure to post some pics of your project.

CONGRATS, Big D! I know you are plannin' on a lot of add ons, but you will want to keep her as light a possible so the 6 can push her well. I never liked carpet as it holds moisture and is too hard to keep clean. I want something that hoses out easily, and carpet makes it harder. Keep us posted on how it goes! Just looked at the interior pics again. man, I wouldn't do nothin' to the interior except paint it white to stay cooler, add rod holders and a depth finder. Sit on a throw cushion, or one of those bolt on seats that attach to your benches that are in there. There again, wood and carpet will weigh it down and make it slower and sluggish. I have an Evinrude 6 too. It's a great little engine, but KEEP the boat LIGHT!

Congradulations Dallas. Any boat that floats, is a good boat. If you lived closer to me, I would help you work on it. That way you might take me out in it once in a while.:smile2:
