My dad purchased five containers of doughbait. And it's a bait that's hard to come by so when Dad and I come across it we stock up on it. He found one container that was DRY, WHILE WE WERE ON LAKE CHERRYWOOD. I asked him if he could put a little water in it...it's the Magic Bait Original Liver and Cheese Bait. Is that possible? Also, are there any suggestions for keeping it from drying out?

    Thanks!

or in the summer when it gets to thin add a pinch of flower to thicken it up

You can also add a little vegetable oil in it to soften it up.

after you get it softened back up put the container in a large ziplok bag this will keep it from drying out.

another suggestion for keeping it moist... instead of the pure vegetable oil use some used oil from the last time you fried up some fish. This will moisten it and also put some fish scent into it at the same time.

Corn oil to soften and corn meal to thicken. Has always worked for me
