I just got a Cabela's wall tent. It is the 12'x12' and is in perfect condition. Got it in the bargin cave at cabela's for $370 (reg $650) looks like someone bought it for a trip and brought it back after the trip. Looks like deer season just got a lot more comfortable:big_smile_2:

Going by the price, I assume it's canvas. Good buy!

I've camped in canvas tents for years, and wouldn't have it any other way, but it takes commitment.

Canvas has to be as dry as a popcorn fart for storage. I've got a rope and pulley arrangement in my barn for hanging my tent to dry. You'll need something similar.

For storage, make sure to provide good air circulation, and exclude varmints.

I believe it looks like this... This is a Cabelas wall tent 12X12 with a vestibule... It's not mine but it just so happens to belong to a real good hunting buddy. We've used it twice up in the Bitterroot and it is cozey!!!

i agree. i go camping to get away from the walls and sinks and tvs. i take the poles cast iron ans coolers full of food and drinks. all cooking is done over the fire or on the picnick table.

forget the $10,000 for a camper. $50 on a motel is cheaper. but ill save the cash to buy bait and sleep in my tent.
