My nephew gaive me a 12' aluminum boat and last weekend i found a 2 horse outbord motor for 40 dollars. Now i have to find a trailer and i am in business. I know the motor is small but it will work antill i can get a largerer one.

If you have a pickup, I use to just put it in the back of my truck, put a red flag on the front of the boat and away I would go. I always loaded it back firtst, then just backed up to the water and unloaded it. Trailer is deffinetly a lot easier though, hope you find one soon so you can get out in it. Im sure that you are aware... Just a reminder.... but since it is small... all passenger will have to have a PFD on at all times... Now to get the other stuff... anchor etc...
