Since this is mainly a catfish forum I was wondering who has ever used goose or duck liver for catfishing and does it work?

Never tried em,Carl. But if you like fried chicken gizzards,Goose gizzards are hard to beat ,you can cut all the gristle out and still have a bunch to fry up.

I would imagine that any blood organ from any critter would be just as good a bait as chicken liver. Give it a try and let us know how it works. And thanks for the post.

i tried some mallard livers as well as livers from canada geese. both worked okay in the winter, but even better in the spring. rabbit livers work good too.
