Well guys got back from Derby on Saturday, and had a great time down there, although the fish were not really cooperating like we would of hoped.
We caught a few flatties in the 4-8lb range, a couple of channels, a huge drum, a really nice striper, and that was about it.
We used live gills, cut gills, live shad, cut shad, mackeral, mooneyes, fishing rocks, stumps, wood piles, just about every senario you could imagine, and all I could think of is SPAWN!!!!!!!!!!
We had some really good runs too, but came up short! but hey we had a hell of a time, it was just beutiful down there!

I went home this weekend (SE Ohio) and found the same thing. The only ones that hit were the smaller immature flatties.
