I fished Wylie from around 7:30pm-2:00am. The weather was clear following the thunderstorms today, the barometer was falling, and the water was in the upper 70's. It was a moonless night.

The bite was awesome in certain places for limited periods of time. I could catch 5-6 fish and then the bite would die off and I would move to another location.

I landed one nice 12 pound blue, a 5 pound blue, and a couple of 4-5 pound channel cats right around sunset. Another location provided 2-seven pound channels and several 4-5 pound channels. The last location was hot from the beginniing, producing seven fish all around 5-6 pounds in a little over an hour. By then it was late and I was down to bream tails for bait!!

I ended the night with 21 channels and blues.
