    Hi everyone. I live in Elyria, most times fishing for me is taking my boys out (age 6 and 3) for bluegill, its a great time but id like to do a Little on my own :) and my 6yr old boy is about ready too. I see some people had some luck in Findlay, anyone fish the black river or the areas on the lake around Lorain?

    oh and btw - I'm sure a few of you will get a kick out of this;
    We fish a pond down at my moms in Amesville, cats 3 to 9 pounds. he loves catching the ones that are as long as his brother is tall. His newest method of landing a cat is to turn around, put the pole over his solder and run away from the bank:) we are working on that one.
    have a great day:)

    welcome to the site. the best place i can think of in lorain is over by the public boat ramp north side of the parking lot you can back right up to it and theres a rail to keep young ones back. good place try it theres a bait shop there too
