Anyone got any good locations? At this point I'm more interested in reliably catching dinner (so to speak) than in the catching the biggest cat possible. So lots of moderate sized cats (although 10" or more in streams/rivers, of course) is preferred over a few real lunkers.

I have many fond memories of family outings fishing, catching, and eating fish, primarily cats and sunfish, when I was young, then a bit later going out on my own or with friends (right up until I had to shell out money for a fishing license and didn't have the money for it--that stopped the fishing). Now that I'm older, with children of my own, I'd like to share some of those memories with them.

Lake Monroe South of Indy. I never went hungery there. Camp at Penntown state campgrounds. You can catch some nice eating cats and also some 30-40 pounders too.

yeah, I'd stick to lakes... If I ate fish, I'd sure never eat a fish outta the river, no way, no matter what the size.
