Me and a friend of mine pulled an all nighter on the boat last night. We got in the water about 6pm, and fished the same cove all night long. We weren't prepared to catch much or even larger than a pound or two, and ended up having to improvise with stringers, rope, chain, and a fender bumper. We kept 17 fish total, weighed out to 47.5lbs on 2 stringers and a rope :)

We fished about 10ft deep or so using chicken livers, didn't have a need to try anything else. At one point we had 3 rods hitting at once, which had us scrambling (in a good way). The biggest catch was 11.5lbs, my friend landed it about 3am. Last fish caught was around 415am, then we started heading back an hour later. I wish the weather was a bit better (thunder and lightning at 4am on a boat ain't no joke), but i'm sure if it was any clearer or warmer out they wouldn't have been hitting as good. It was the best fishing night i've had in years, can't wait to go back. Anywho, here's a few pics...

nice good night there maybe ill see yall one night and have a chat im always in coves by the tresel seeya and good catches :)

Sounds good to me, i'm always up for chatting with other fisherman on the water. There were quite a few boats around that night on the other side (CPW side) and tied off to the tressel but they were all gone by about 3am.

From what i could tell, the cats must've been coming from the north end to the south end of the lake. There were some bank fisherman on our southside that didn't catch anything at all, but us being 100yds up from them in the cove (close enough to conversate) caught quite a bit. Guess we intercepted them ;)
