Hey ya'll new to the site. Just returned from Melvern this weekend rode out a hell of a wind storm Monday in the camper, after front came in that evening wandered down to the bank and it was non stop action caught one blue weighing 18lbs and no sooner did I get that one in and on the bank then the other rod went down with a 8lb channel on it. I am down there most weekends any one need a tag along fishing partner let me know.

Though the Kansas Forum is a great spot to talk with us locals, one of the
first things to do is to go through the section called Quick Links on the
top bar. It explains basic rules, proceedures and features. Don't get too
intimidated, hell don't even read real closely because you'll come back to
it later when you need to. Next look over the Article Library. Lots of
good info there especially if you are handy with tools or want to build
cheap equipment that may work better than the stuff available to buy.
Oh, try to get in your first ten posts as quick as you can, that way you
can send and recieve private messages from individual members. That way
you can get more specific information that might not be talked about
on a public forum by some. Eighteen pounder, eh? Better than I've done
this season so far, but there's always tomorrow!

Welcom To the BOC (Bother Of Catfish[men]). Did you take any pictures? CPR (Catch, Picture, Release). Aot of times people will CPR bigger fish and keep the littler ones (eathers). There are no rules I know of about what to keep and what to release except state creel lengh limits. You'll find alot of information here.
