Good flys for bass

    hello brothers i caught my frist fish on a fly rod on my frist fly fishing trip but it was a bluegill and the bass ignored my flies so i need info on some for bass thanks:wink:

    Chris, I would suggest muddler minnow, clouser, or some type of popper. You didn't say if you tied your own or used ready made.

    Like Kenny said the muddler minnow, clouser minnow work well. Also a wooly bugger will also pick you up some bass but the best thing I've ever used for bass was called a sneaky pete. It's a top water made of cork or foam with these rubber band legs. Fish can't seem to leave it alone. Get a larger size for bass cuz the pan fish love it too.
