why does good candy go away? what is wrong with people ?

i want a "Banana Beichs" so bad i can taste it. they have been gone for years...................anyone else remember those little "Sin-Sin" mints?

people had to stop buying them for those companies to go out of business...

    progress isn't always good:sad2:

Kinda like custard ice cream, Phil. It's hard to find. Used to we could go to a little restaurant and buy it, and even get it dipped in chocolate! I know it's not candy, but it's sweet, so that's where my brain went at the moment.

    Take care.

I just saw a piece on SUGAR DADDY'S they referred to it as retro candy. It never went away and neither did I. So does that make me a retro candy man because I still like them? They were first concocted in the 1920's that must mean when I first had them in the 1950's that they were retro then.
I'm like a retro retro candy man, how cool is that! :cool2:

I miss the days of penny candy at the little Mom & pop stores. I always liked those candy cigarettes, the flying saucers with the little beads inside, the red licorice whips, etc.
