I want to get out in the Ohio river and catfish with my son. I don’t have any experience with boats besides a jon bot with an trolling motor on it. What would be a good size jon boat to look for that would be safe and stable for 2-3 people on the Ohio river ? I’d also like to fish for bass, and everything else on it as well. I don’t want to spend a fortune because I wanna see how much I’ll use it first before I go spend a ton on a boat. What price range could I get a good safe stable basic jon bot that would be comfortable catfishing for? What size and model should I look for ?
