Well this is it, this is th weekend th wife an I take to boat out on Granger Lake and run some trots and throw a few jugs and do a lil rod n reel fishin for some late winter blues. Th forecast is for sunny an mid 70's. lows in th 50's. looks like PERFECT trotlinein weather. So cross your fingers an pray that th fishing GODS will grant us a bountifull harvest of fresh fish. I bought Denise a laptop for school, we r bringin it with so for we can post any and all pics ASAP. will keep ya posted. Oh, in case anyone is in th area, stop in an say howdy.

I dont take th cold very well either ryang, thats why I bought thermal underwear, those hand an feet warmers u see hunters use and insulated bib coveralls. that an a good set of gloves an I should be warm all night runnin my trotlines. weatherman said it is only expected to barely get down into th 50's, so it shouldnt be too bad. I WILL post pics, especially of th trophy ones. C.P.R.

Well, here it is Sunday night and we r back from our trip. tired, sore and sun-burned & skunked. Well not totally, th weather didnt exactly cooperate, it was warm, but too daggum windy, also th boat isnt exactly legal, and I hear that th game warden hits Granger pretty heavy. Beings its a small lake it aint hard to get ppl for violations, they check everybody on th water they see. so that kinda scared me into keepin th boat up till after dark, but the wind didnt let up then either, so we just hung out by th boat dock on this little fishin pier an caught a mess of crappie Sat night. Caught a few cats to but no trophies, just 3-4 pounders. we kept everything we caught, only cuz it wasnt much, didnt run a trot line or any jugs, but theres always another day, am optomistic, will give it another shot soon. Sorry I cant report back with pics of massive cats, or fat stringers, but we had fun nonethless.
