Goldfish.....

    Are goldfish legal in Illinois, if so, any specific restrictions on them. I couldn't find it in the regs. :confused2: PLEASE HELP!! Thanks!:big_smile:

    Yes, goldfish are legal in illinois. I specifically e-mailed IDNR with this question and it was answered in the affirmitave. Have fun.

    Thanks Brent, that is something I have been wondering myself. I have a koi pond that is over populated with goldfish. I looked on the dnr website and emailed them but hadn't gotten a reply back yet.

    There only good on the Kasky river :happy: :tounge_out: You have to catch them out of the water your fishing in other wise, :tounge_out: LMAO! Just Kidding chop them carps up and hookem on......

    Thanks for clearing that up Brent. My brother has the opportunity to get me 250 goldfish for free, we just have to go get them. And I wanted to make sure I was on the up and up if I use them.
