would gold fish live or cut be a good bait for blues??
If I were fishing gold fish id use them live. Theres too many other free bait fish that you can cut up if you want to.
I have caught blues on live goldish. Wouldnt be my first choice but wouldnt be my last either. Get what you can get and go fishin!:smile2:
I have primarily heard of using gold fish for flatheads, but I guess they could work on blues. I only use cut bait for blues
Well i think it would work but cut is better. Here in va we use many cut baits and 1 or 2 live baits.
I have caught blues on live goldfish fishing for shovels, and shovels on heads fishing for blues. I'd try them alive first and see how it goes, you can always cut them up later.
Kinda funny that I stumbled across this post because I've caught 4 Blues this year and all 4 were caught on Live Goldfish.
yes gold fish will work for blues. ive used it some over the years.
goldfish should work go for it rick
Yep.... we've caught lots and lots of blues and flatheads on live goldfish.
USE EM LIVE TIL THEY DIE. THEN CUT THEM UP.

Save your money and go with readily available baits that are in your lake.
