    Hey guys,
I'm going to be at Tillery Saturday, I was wondering if anyone could give me any pointers as to where to go to catch bait (perch or shad) and/or some catfish. I have heard people catch cats at the lower end of Tillery at the dam, but I have never fished it for catfish before. Will probably be putting in at Lilly's Bridge, not far from that dam. I don't plan on fishing in the heat of the day, prolly near dawn or dusk. Any info would be appreciated.

Well this time of year the blues can be anywhere. In the fall and winter most of them are way river, from the 24/27 bridge to the northern dam. As for bait you might want to look around the bays. Down by the southern mountain theres a bay that breaks off into 3 different bays. there's always bait in that area.
