wandering if anybody been doing any good on marion past couple of days
aint been there for quite a few years -used to live in a little town south of marion - goreville -heard of it? If ya have you ought to try the ferne clyffe lake (more like an oversize pond) head to the back side - it is a hike - but used to catch flats long as my leg - avg 25 pds +....also the good ole lake of egypt has some real monsters too.....
The flatheads have turned on really hard fishing live bait at night anchored IN the river channel. Move about every hour or two down a little further and use fresh live bait. We have done real good this past week on live bream in 20 to 25 ft. when the storms would leave us alone.
HMMMMMMN which river channel might that be????LOL cant be the main river thats 40ft at least with the water up.Might have to come down this weekend and help you with that problem.:smile2:
thanks for the help guys be back to tell yaw how we did sunday
