Anyone know if there is a ramp on the great miami river you can put a trailer in to launch a boat from between south hamilton and the ohio river? I found a couple on a map but they were for launching canoes. Or maybe one between the canal and woodsdale? My boat is too heavy to carry.

    Roger,

As long as your boat has a shallow draft, you can put in here:

Its shallow in a lot of places, and pretty close to the ohio river.

If you want access to the Ohio river, Tanners creek in lawrenceburg IN might be a better bet.

I think after the lowhead dam in hamilton, the river is pretty much out for boating unless you have a canoe.
