I decided to try the same spot a second night. Started my night at the pond on E. River Road to catch some of those palm sized gills in there. I only caught 3.... So I use one as live bait and used the other 2 as cut bait. Then I had a pole out with crawler and caught a 12 inch channel... I decided to use for bait.

I caught a shovelhead that weighed maybe 6 pounds on that channel cat. The big fish of the night was a fish that scaled at 11.5 pound and took a gill fillet that was on my bass tackle. That was a tough fight on 8 pound line and a 6 foot fish stix rod.

Bryan you had a pretty good catch there. I've been getting skunked. Sure hate that word.
