gills on ice.

    anybody have tips for gills through the ice. i cant really get alot when i go the most i get for 8 hours is 30 or so any help would be great. thanks in advance.:confused2::0a31:

    Can't help you there sorry....I been trying to catch gils for about 2 weeks and haven't caught a one. We don't even have ice here. I think they are in deeper water and I just haven't found them yet.:eek:oooh:

    i think they are starting to go towards the shore because i was catching them in 10' of water just next to the weeds. some nice gills though the biggest was about 9" long good for a utah gill.
