Giant Wolf Fish on OLN

    They are catching Giant Wolf fish on the OLN if you might be intrested or if you have a Dish.
    These are some big bad fish.

    I'm not sure, I've never heard of one either but they are catching them on OLN (Outdoor Life Network).

    These fish look like giant flathead catfish but with different colors.

    Thanks Paul for that intresting info on the Wolf fish.
    It is one ugly fish and mean looking.

    My son Joe who spent 7 years comercial fishing out of Clarks Harbor Nova Scotia had this to say about Wolf fish,when I asked.He has caught many.10 to 30 lbs.is the size range of most comercialy caught.About 40 lbs.is the largest that he has seen.They are good eating fried.The flesh texture is like gator tail.They are caught while hand and longlining offshore for Cod,with cut bait on the bottom.They are sent to and sold to the fish market in New York City.They normaly sold for about 1/4 the price of Cod.They seldom are caught inshore by rod and reel.Each year they seemed to catch fewer.peewee-williams
