I use braids on spinning tackle for distance casting lures into spillway areas. Many of these lures generate line twist. Mono line sinks and may be pulled behind a boat to remove twist. Darned braids float. I drag the braids behind my boat with my rod about a foot under water. This seems to remove the twist just fine. Hope this can be helpful.

I was wondering if you could get line twist with braid on a spinning reel. Caused by not closing the bail with your hand. Any help would be appreciated, Thanks.
